Festival Technical Information and Program Flow

INTHOF – International Folk Dance Festival provides participating groups with a well-planned, safe, and professional organizational structure. The festival process is carried out within an integrated flow that includes accommodation, stage programs, cultural excursions, and social activities.

Arrival – Departure and General Schedule

Participating groups are required to arrive in Kemer by Monday, 27 April 2026, no later than 12:00 PM. The festival program will begin on the same day with breakfast.

After the completion of the festival, groups will depart from the hotel no later than 12:00 PM on Thursday, 30 April 2026, following lunch.

Participation Conditions and Group Structure

The festival is open to groups consisting of a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 40 participants (including group leaders and drivers).
Throughout the festival, all groups are required to comply with organizational rules, as well as safety and discipline regulations. Administrative and disciplinary responsibility for each group lies with the group leader.

Stage Performances

Within the scope of the festival, each group will present at least two performances, including:

1 Festival Performance
1 Competition Performance

Performance durations should be between 6–8 minutes. Live music is preferred; however, playback is permitted. Performances are expected to have a cultural character. Copyright responsibility for the music used belongs to the participating groups.

Competition and Awards

As part of the festival competition program, groups achieving ranking positions will be awarded as follows:

1st Place: Trophy + Special invitation to the next organization
2nd Place: Trophy + Certificate
3rd Place: Trophy + Certificate

In addition, special awards will be presented based on performance quality.

Accommodation and Catering

All groups will be accommodated in 4–5 star hotels under an all-inclusive (including alcoholic beverages) concept.
The following meals are included during the accommodation period:

Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner

Participants may benefit from hotel facilities such as swimming pools, fitness centers, and relaxation areas. Entertainment and social activities are organized within the festival program during the evenings.

Transportation and Transfers

Groups arriving by bus will use their own vehicles throughout the festival.
Fuel support will be provided depending on distance.
Free bus transfers are offered for groups arriving by airplane.
Free parking is available at festival venues.

Program Flow and Social Activities

Festival stage performances and official programs take place during the evening hours.
Daytime schedules include free time, cultural excursions, and social activities. Cultural tours are organized in a way that does not disrupt the festival program flow.

All groups participating in the festival parade are required to join the procession with:

Group flag/banner
Group name signboard (provided by the organization)
