Yörük Park is an open-air ethnography park and viewpoint located on the Küçükburun Peninsula in the district of Kemer, Antalya. Presenting local Yörük (Turkmen) culture through the concept of a living museum, the park brings together traditional tents, handicrafts, regional flavors, and panoramic views stretching across the Mediterranean Sea and the Taurus Mountains.
Yörük Park is situated within a pine forest by the sea, between Kemer’s main beach and the marina. Walking paths extending along the hillside, terraces, and natural seating areas offer visitors a pleasant tour experience accompanied by views of the bay, marina, and surrounding mountains. With these features, the park stands out as both a cultural stop and a popular location for photography and sunset viewing.
The traditional lifestyle of the Yörüks is presented through family tents, weaving and kitchen tents, wooden structures, everyday household items, and staged displays. Daily life scenes are illustrated using mannequins, while folk music and dance performances are occasionally organized to enrich the atmosphere. Informative panels and guided explanations convey the history and way of life of Yörük culture in the Mediterranean region.
Small businesses within the park offer regional delicacies unique to Yörük culture. Freshly prepared gözleme and traditional tea service, often made in front of visitors, are among the highlights. In addition, local handicrafts and woven products are available for sale in certain areas, keeping the Yörük tradition of production alive.
