Tahtalı Cable Car (Olympos Teleferik) is an impressive aerial cable car system located on Tahtalı Mountain near the district of Kemer, Antalya, transporting visitors from the Mediterranean coastline to a summit elevation of 2,365 meters. Its ability to take guests from sea level to high mountain scenery in a short time makes it one of the most iconic experiences along Türkiye’s southern coast.
The journey begins at the lower station set among pine forests within Beydağları Coastal National Park and ascends steeply toward the rocky summit of Tahtalı Mountain. Red cable car cabins with wide glass panels offer panoramic views throughout the ride, encompassing the coastline, forests, and the Taurus Mountains.
At the summit, visitors will find observation terraces, restaurant/café areas, souvenir points, and designated photo zones. Depending on weather and seasonal conditions, paragliding take-offs as well as special sunrise or sunset rides may also be organized. All experiences are shaped around a visually striking journey “from sea to summit.”
Tahtalı Cable Car has become one of the most recognized touristic landmarks of the Turkish Riviera. Frequently included in day trips from Antalya, Kemer, and surrounding resort areas, this experience appeals to photography enthusiasts, families, and nature lovers alike thanks to its easy accessibility, short travel time, and breathtaking high-altitude views.
